TERMS AND CONDITIONS
GENERAL RESERVATION CONDITIONS
The accommodation will be available from 5:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and must be free before 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure. Any possible variation must be previously agreed and authorized by Ibiza My Villa.
GENERAL ARRIVAL PROCEDURE:
As soon as you land at Ibiza airport it is necessary to notify our contact agent to inform of your arrival; in order to provide the best service possible, it is important to know if a car rental has been booked and from which company.
If you have a car rental reservation with Avis, Atesa, Europcar, Betacar, or Hertz, you should allow 25-30 minutes for car pick-up plus a minimum of 15 minutes for baggage pick-up.
If the car rental reservation has been made with Hipercar, Gold Car, BKK, Centauro, OK Car or any other online company, you should consider more time because the pick-up offices are outside the airport, so you will have to take a shuttle service. transport for which there may be a queue.
For these reasons, it´s very important to also notify when all the procedures have been completed and you are leaving the airport.
If the rental car has been booked through our trusted partner, your contact person will be waiting for you directly outside the airport with the documents and the contract; this will speed up car pick-up times.
PLEASE NOTE: In case of a change in the arrival procedure, our staff will inform you at least one week before the trip.
ARRIVALS OUT OF OFFICE HOURS (BETWEEN 9PM AND 9AM):
For all clients whose arrival is scheduled between 9:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m., we ask that you inform our team well in advance to better organize the procedures upon arrival. A member of our team will be available to the client to enter the villa and carry out the check-in procedures at an additional cost of 100 euros.
It is also possible to hire a transfer service from the airport (the rate varies according to the area where the villa is located).
REFUNDABLE SECURITY - SECURITY DEPOSIT:
A damage deposit stated above is required upon arrival, unless paid in advance. This deposit will be returned within 48 hours of departure, provided that the property is left in the same condition as it was at check-in, that it has not been damaged or broken, and that the keys are left in the agreed place before 11:00 am on the day of departure.
If the deposit was paid in cash, bank details must be provided at check-in to facilitate reimbursement at the end of the stay.
If you find any type of irregularity/damage upon arrival at the property, it is essential that you inform us within a maximum period of 24 hours so that we can find a solution as soon as possible and avoid undue deductions. In the event that payment for services is withdrawn from the security deposit, an administrative fee of €50 plus associated costs will be added.
The client will be responsible for any damage caused by the misbehavior of all occupants of the property.
On the day of departure it is necessary to make check - out and return the keys before 11:00 am. Failure to comply with this condition will require a deduction of 250 euros from the deposit.
Almost all of our rental properties are located in residential or rural areas, very few are served by public transport and taxis can be in limited supply and difficult to direct to private villas that are not in the main tourist centres. For this reason, it is advisable to reserve the rental car well in advance and through a well-known and trusted company to avoid unpleasant inconveniences upon arrival on the island. Ibiza My Villa concierge can offer you car rental directly upon arrival at Ibiza airport; the car will be ready for collection without long waits.
The properties do not provide a fixed telephone connection, so we always recommend traveling with a mobile phone that has a balance to ensure that you are always in contact with us. Please note that there are many rural areas where the signal is weak or almost non-existent.
It is the customer's responsibility to deposit the waste in the appropriate containers that are usually found on the nearest main road. Keep in mind that many properties are in rural areas and food waste can attract cats, insects, and other unwanted wildlife. Upon departure, there should be no garbage bags inside the property. Failure to comply with this provision will result in a deduction from the deposit that can vary between €50 and €100.
MUSIC, PARTIES AND NOISE
All activities that may cause inconvenience, damage or harm to third parties and/or neighbours are expressly prohibited. Guests and their companions are requested to strictly abide by the House Rules and applicable local regulations.
Therefore, it is expressly prohibited:
- Events, parties and any gathering in the rented property that violates the current restrictions;
- Overnight stays and temporary guests who exceed the maximum established capacity and guests who have not been declared.
Failure to comply with these rules will result in the automatic termination of the rental contract, with the expulsion of the guests from the property, with the consequent loss of all amounts paid, including the deposit. In case of resistance or reckless behavior, the intervention of the police will be required.
Music and sounds between 11:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. should not exceed 45 decibels.
The day of departure the property must be left in the same conditions as on arrival. It is important to make sure that the kitchen, the barbecue and all the utensils are completely clean and in good condition. Otherwise, a variable penalty between 50 and 100 euros will be applied.
Requests for extra cleaning during the stay must be communicated before arrival in order to properly organize the service (the cost varies according to the property).
In case of loss of keys (failure to deliver the same number of keys provided on arrival) a minimum of €150 will be deducted from the deposit for changing the lock and €100 for each remote control.
FURNITURE AND DECORATION
It is absolutely forbidden to change the position of the furniture in the property or to make any other changes.
CAPACITY OF THE PROPERTY AND NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS
Each property is prepared for a certain number of occupants. In no case is it allowed to exceed the maximum occupancy indicated. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that at all times the number of people occupying the property matches the number of people on the reservation form. Failure to comply with this rule will lead to eviction or the payment of an occupancy supplement (if the guests staying do not exceed the maximum capacity allowed).
Most properties do not allow pets. Only with the express permission of Ibiza My Villa and prior agreement at the time of booking, pets can stay in the property. An additional cost may be required for the final cleaning of the property.
If a pet is brought into the property without authorization, the contract will be canceled and the property will be vacated, with the loss of the total cost of the reservation, the security deposit and any damages without the possibility of refund.
If you cancel or abort your reservation prior to 14 days before the date of arrival (check-in day), the cancellation fee is 50% of the total rental amount.
In the case of cancellation or cancellation during the 14 days prior to the scheduled arrival date (check-in day), the cancellation fees amount to 100% of the total rental amount.
If you have chosen a "· Non Refundable" rate, the cancellation costs at any time amount to 100% of the total rental amount.
In the unlikely event that it is necessary to make a change or cancellation of the reserved property, we will immediately inform the client and, if requested, we will find an equivalent alternative solution.
ANOMALIES AND DEFICIENCIES
To intervene quickly by our staff, any irregularity found by the client at check-in or during their stay must be reported as soon as possible and, in any case, always before check-out.
Any complaint made after leaving the property will not be considered.
The properties are mostly located in residential areas, not generally located in areas with large tourist complexes. Government or private construction work may be taking place in the vicinity at times. Neither Ibiza My Villa nor the owner of the property have any influence on these works and cannot be held responsible for said works or any disturbance they may cause.
WATER, ELECTRICITY AND INTERNET
Cuts in the supply of water, electricity or internet are not regular. However, local authorities may occasionally cut off or restrict supplies for short periods of time. Neither Ibiza My Villa nor the owner of the property can be held responsible for the inconvenience caused by temporary cuts in supply due to interventions by third parties or due to force majeure.
The rental price does not include travel insurance. It is always recommended to consider taking out an all-risk travel insurance policy.
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OWNER
Ibiza My Villa and the owner, do not assume any responsibility for any loss or theft that occurs within the property or for injuries caused by the incorrect use of the equipment in the property.
ACCEPTANCE OF THE CONDITIONS
By confirming the reservation, the client accepts all the General Conditions in its whole. Information about complaints and the resolution of any dispute between the client and Ibiza My Villa will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of the city of Ibiza and will be subject to the decisions of said courts. This contract is subject to Spanish law.
